Ballet “Genesis” goes on a tour of Russia!
From April 3 to 8, the Kyrgyz National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after A. Maldybaev will tour Russia.
As part of the tour, the troupe of the theater will show the ballet “Genesis” staged by Dmitry Pimonov (Mariinsky Theater) in Yekaterinburg, Cheboksary and Kazan.
In Yekaterinburg, the troupe will perform at the Sverdlovsk State Academic Theater of Musical Comedy. Here, on the small stage, the theater will show a concert of the best pieces of the golden classic of its repertoire, including the ballet “Genesis”.
In Cheboksary, the theater will take part in the XXVII Volga-Opera International Festival organized by the Chuvash State Opera and Ballet Theatre.
As part of the festival, the ballet “Genesis” will be shown, as well as the ballet “The Mother’s Field” based on the short story of the famous Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov.
In Kazan, the troupe of the theater of the Kyrgyz National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after A.Maldybaev will perform at the House of Сulture “Zheleznodorozhnik”, where the theater will also show two performances – the ballet “Genesis” and the ballet “The Mother’s Field”.
The tour was organized with the support of the Baruch Berliner’s Genesis International Project, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the All-Russian Kyrgyz Congress, the Public Association “The International Issyk-Kul Forum named after Chingiz Aitmatov”, the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Sverdlovsk Region, as well as the management of the Sverdlovsk State Academic Theater of Musical Comedy, the Chuvash State Opera and Ballet Theatre, and the House of Сulture “Zheleznodorozhnik”.
