Completed tour of the cities of Russia

The tour of the cities of Russia of the troupe of the Kyrgyz National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after A. Maldybaev with the ballet “Genesis” is over!

With great success, the troupe performed on the small stage of the Sverdlovsk State Academic Theater of Musical Comedy in Yekaterinburg, at the XXVII Volga-Opera International Festival organized by the Chuvash State Opera and Ballet Theatre, at the House of Сulture “Zheleznodorozhnik” in Kazan, as well as at the venue of the House of Сulture “All-Russian Society for Blind” in Moscow, which was included in our tour itinerary at the last moment.

The ballet received warm reviews from the audience, critics and management of the host venues.
Agreements have been reached on performances at venues as part of future tours, which are tentatively scheduled for autumn 2023.

The tour was organized with the support of the Baruch Berliner’s Genesis International Project, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the All-Russian Kyrgyz Congress, the Public Association “The International Issyk-Kul Forum named after Chingiz Aitmatov”, the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Sverdlovsk Region, as well as the management of the Sverdlovsk State Academic Theater of Musical Comedy, the Chuvash State Opera and Ballet Theatre, the House of Сulture “Zheleznodorozhnik” and the House of Сulture “All-Russian Society for Blind”.

We’d like to thank the technical staff of the host country for their competent work and comprehensive assistance during the performances.
